The most expensive house in Delhi is not owned by prominent billionaires Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani or Ratan Tata, but by the daughter of country’s leader real estate magnate KP Singh, who runs the esteemed DLF Group in India.
KP Singh’s daughter Renuka Talwar is the owner of the most expensive house in Delhi, with the prime property located at Prithviraj Road, one of the most posh areas of the national capital. The whopping price of the house made it the biggest deal in Lutyens’ Delhi in many years.
DLF Chairman KP Singh’s daughter Renuka Talwar bought a massive house on Prithviraj Road of Delhi for Rs 435 crore in 2016. According to current rates, the Rs 435 crore house has a value of over Rs 510 crore, being at one of the prime spots in the country.
With this massive purchase, Renuka Talwar became the owner of the most expensive house in Delhi. The house was sold to her by Kamal Taneja, managing director of real estate developer TDI Infracorp, making it the biggest purchase in Prithviraj Road in decades.
Renuka Talwar’s Delhi plot is spread across nearly 5000 sq meters, with the builtup area of the bungalow being around 1189 sq meters. The massive and luxurious house was sold for Rs 8.8 lakh per sq m, taking its price to Rs 435 crore.
Before Renuka Talwar, the last major purchase made on the prestigious Prithviraj Road in Delhi was by Shahi Exports’ Harish Ahuja, who bought a massive mansion worth Rs 173 crore, around half the size of KP Singh’s daughter’s house.
Being one of the heirs of the real estate giant DLF Group, KP Singh’s daughter Renuka Talwar has a net worth of around Rs 2780, according to a report by Times of India.
