NEW DELHI: Philips Electronics India on Tuesday launched its diamond-encrusted Ambilight LCD High Definition TV which has been developed in conjunction with the New York-based jewellery company A Link.
Philips claims that it is the most expensive television valued at 150,000 dollar featuring 225 carats of close to 2,250 individual diamonds.
The Diamond Ambilight Flat TV would be shown in India at different events and finally be auctioned off to charity later in 2007, a company release said.
