Public sector lender Punjab National Bank today rolled out 10 banking kiosks at unbanked villages of Rohtak district, in Haryana, as part of its financial inclusion initiative dubbed, 'Project Namaskar'.      "We have set up 10 kiosks in 10 villages of Rohtak district... to extend the bank's outreach to these villages," said SK Madan, circle head, PNB (Rohtak Circle).     The kiosks will be set up in Patwapur, Bhaini Chanderpal, Bhaini Maharajpur, Assan, Morkheri, Mungan, Bhaketa, Gijji, Atial and Gandhra, which are presently unbanked and have a total population of about 30,000, the official said.     Under Project Namaskar, PNB plans to set up one lakh kiosks or touch points in unbanked villages by 2013.     Under this financial inclusion programme, representatives appointed by PNB would provide banking services like opening of no frill accounts and cash deposits to the rural population.     On this occasion, the bank also launched 6 new ATMs from where customers of PNB as well as other banks can withdraw cash. Speaking on the occasion, Madan informed that 60 ATMs were opened in Rohtak Circle during the last financial year.
