The Indian rupee eased further by nine paise in early trade today for the fifth straight day on capital outflows by foreign funds and dollar's gain against other Asian currencies.At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market, the rupee depreciated by 9 paise to Rs45.69 a dollar.The rupee closed lower by 2 paise at 45.60/61 a dollar in the previous session on Tuesday. The forex market remainedclosed yesterday on account of Ram Navami.Forex dealers said capital outflows by foreign funds from equities and dollar's gains against other Asian currencies,mainly weighed on the rupee sentiment.Meanwhile, the Bombay Stock Exchange index, Sensex, fell by 61.16 points, or 0.35% to 17,389.l86 points in the opening trade today.
