The Samvat year 2062 on Friday ended on a weak note as the benchmark Sensex further lost over 14 points on the Bombay Stock Exchange, on sustained selling by funds in heavyweight stocks.

MUMBAI: The Samvat year 2062 on Friday ended on a weak note as the benchmark Sensex further lost over 14 points on the Bombay Stock Exchange, on sustained selling by funds in heavyweight stocks.
 
The market witnessed immense volatility as the Sensex moved between 12,849.02 and 12,679.85 before ending lower by 14.19 points at 12,709.40.
 
The Sensex dropped by about 220 points in the last four trading session on foreign as well as domestic funds, keeping it away from the crucial 13K level.
 
Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange moved between 3714.25 and 3665.50 points in choppy deals before winding down by 0.95 points at 3676.85.
 
A special Muhurat trading will take place on Saturday from 6.15 pm to 7.30 pm to commence the Samvat year 2063.
