HYDERABAD: Security firm Topsgrup, whose clientele includes the Tata group, Airtel among others, on Monday said as a part of its expansion plans it would raise the number of head counts by March next and would also open additional branches.
    
Topsgrup Diwan Chairman and Managing Director Rahul Nanda told reporters here on Monday that the current base of over 4,500 security guards in Andhra Pradesh would be raised to over 10,000 guards by March next to meet the skilled and quality requirement of customers in this region.
    
"With Hyderabad emerging as a major IT hub, we will be opening up additional branches in twin cities - Hyderabad and Secunderabad - launching a dedicated training academy in the city soon", he added.
    
Nanda said Topsgrup is poised to enter international arena by acquiring a UK-based agency, with an investment of $ 140 million.
    
Its clientele spans celebrities from Bollywood, business tycoons, multinationals, government bodies, embassies, banks and leading corporates such as Tata Group, Reliance, Airtel, Oracle, HSBC, Stanchart, ICICI, Future Group amongst many others.
    
The company is also planning to increase its market share in Hyderabad to a whopping 40-45 per cent from its existing 25-28 per cent by next fiscal year.
