MUMBAI: Will RCom’s pain be VSNL’s gain? The Tata group firm yesterday quickly restored its hobbled internet lines by routing increased traffic through its Singapore and Chennai submarine cable system. A VSNL spokesperson told DNA Money, “Connectivity has been restored to a large number of our customers.”
VSNL also has the 3,175 km Tata Indicom Cable, a point-to-point submarine cable system connecting Chennai, India and Singapore through which, too, it diverted lines to bring back normalcy.
