We often hear about multi-crore conglomerates like Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Group and Ratan Tata's Tata Group, however, it is not often that we realise the extent to which they influence our daily lives through the brands that they own.
Tata Group was formed as a trading corporation by Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata and has now become India’s largest conglomerate.

Westside
Westside is a flagship retail store of Trent Limited, an Indian Retail Company which is owned by the Tata Group.
Starbucks India
Starbucks was launched in India in October 2012 as a joint venture between Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Consumer Products Limited.
Jaguar
Tata Motors, in 2008, purchased Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford and formed Jaguar Land Rover.
Big Basket
Tata Group acquired tech startup company Big Basket in 2021 with its subsidiary buying a 64% stake in the company.
Ginger Hotels
Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), a subsidiary of the Tata Group, owns Ginger Hotel Chain.
Zudio
Trent Limited, an Indian Retail Company is owned by the Tata Group which includes brands like Westside, Zudio, and Utsa, among others.
Zara India
Inditex Trent is a joint venture between the Spanish fashion brand Inditex and Tata’s Trent that runs 21 Zara stores in India.
Fastrack
Fastrack is a joint venture between Tata Group and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO).
Voltas
Voltas was launched in 1954 as a collaboration between Tata Sons and Volkart Brothers.
Air India
The Tata Group bought Air India from the Government of India and took over its operations in 2022.
Range Rover
Tata Motors, in 2008, purchased Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford and formed Jaguar Land Rover. The vehicle is part of the Tata Group.
