SunRisers Hyderabad ended their three-match losing streak with a thrilling 9-run victory over Delhi Capitals. The Capitals were chasing a daunting target of 198, but were ultimately restricted to 188 for 7, thanks to the impressive bowling of Mayank Markande, who finished with figures of 2 for 20.
Earlier, Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen put on a masterclass in batting, steering SRH to a formidable total of 197 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs. Abhishek scored a blistering 67 off just 36 balls, while Klaasen remained unbeaten on 53 off 27 deliveries.
Despite the loss, Mitchell Marsh was the standout performer for DC, finishing with impressive figures of 4 for 27, including a double-wicket maiden.
