Virat Kohli’s Indian cricket team successfully managed to avoid the whitewash as they triumphed for the first time against Australia in Canberra by winning the final ODI at the Manuka Oval by 13 runs. The 2-1 series win meant that in the entire year, the ODI head-to-head count between India and Australia was tied at 3-3. With the ODIs out of the way, India would be looking to assert themselves in the Twenty20 Internationals against Australia. In the past, India have done well in T20Is in Australia, whitewashing them 3-0 in 2016 and drawing the series 1-1 in the 2018/19 season.
