Colombo Kings strengthened their position in the points table by beating the table toppers Jaffna Stallions on Saturday in the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
With four wins in five gmaes, Kings are now behind the Stallions by just a little margin as far as the Net Run Rate (NRR) is concerned.
On the other hand, it's a completely different picture for the Galle Gladiators. The Gladiators are still searching for their first win and their hopes of qualifying for the top-four are getting quashed match-by-match.
The wins in remaining games can work for them, but will depend upon the results of Kandy Tuskers as well.
