Ahead of their clash with Afghanistan in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Team India members Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya spent some fun time with kids at a promotional event arranged by International Cricket Council (ICC).

As a bunch of school kids waited patiently for their cricket clinic with the Indian cricketers, there was curiosity over who all will attend after a gruelling practice session ahead of their World Cup fixture against Afghanistan in Southampton on Saturday.

And then suddenly, it was Hardik and Rahul standing at the staircase, ready to join the kids for the clinic arranged by the ICC. Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant too joined them later while several other Team India members including MS Dhoni witnessed the fun and games.

In a Tweet, Kohli said there is honesty and commitment in whatever kids do. He also added that the biggest learning is to "never forget the joy of playing" cricket.

"Spending time with kids is an absolute joy and an opportunity to contribute to their journey in some way. Such honesty and commitment in whatever kids do. So much to learn as well and the biggest learning is to never forget the joy of playing this great game," Kohli tweeted.  (Image: Twitter @imVKohli)

The 30 minutes session saw Hardik Pandya become one of the kids in the clinic. He would deliberately get out and the kids were overjoyed. He would then put a cone on his head and a ball over it. Rahul also did his bit giving throwdowns. He shared pictures of the event with a tweet, "Babies' day out".  (Image: Twitter @KLRahul11)

A little later, Rishabh Pant also joined the kids. World's 'best babysitter' got a roar of approval as he sent some of those soft balls outside the park. "Ab dekhna Rishabh ne maraa, toh ab yeh (Hardik) bhi marega," a familiar voice said from the dressing room balcony.
