Live Cricket Score, India vs Australia (IND vs AUS) 3rd ODI: Virat Kohli hit his second century in two matches but could not prevent Australia from winning the 3rd ODI against India by 32 runs in Ranchi on Friday.
India were all out for 281 in their chase as the Indian captain scored 123 for his 41st ODI century. Adam Zampa got the wickets of MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav and Kohli to inflict big blows to the hosts.
Earlier, MS Dhoni fell for 26 runs in what could be his last match for India in his hometown of Ranchi. Dhoni's wicket meant that India were in further trouble after losing Ambati Rayudu, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan early in the chase. Dhoni and Virat Kohli were looking like getting India out of trouble when Dhoni fell to Adam Zampa. They added 59 runs for the fourth wicket after India were reduced to 27/3.
Kohli then added runs for the 89 runs for the fifth wicket with Kedar Jadhav (26). Kohli completed his 41st ODI century off just 85 balls. After Kohli's wicket, Vijay Shankar and Ravindra Jadeja tried to keep the chase alive. However as Shankar (32 off 30) fell trying to hit a big shot, it spelled the end of Indian hopes.
Australia posted 313/5 in their 50 overs. Usman Khawaja scored his first ODI century as he and Aaron Finch (93) added 193 runs for the first wicket. It was the fourth highest opening stand in India against India and seventh highest opening stand for Australia.

Virat Kohli won the toss for the first time in the series and decided to bowl first. The hosts fielded an unchanged side while Australia replaced pacer Nathan Coulter-Nile with Jhye Richardson.
