India take on South Africa in the second Test match in Pune.

1.Day 3 begins
Asked to bat out 15 overs, the South African batting has seen a collapse with the top order being dismantled by the Indian bowlers.
Umesh Yadav pegged back the openers before Shami struck off his very first ball to send three South African batsmen back in the hut.
Now, today on Day 3, the Proteas will be looking to survive the onslaught by the Indian bowlers.
2.The nightwatchman - Anrich Nortje - has been nipped out by Shami
Edged and caught!
India have got rid of the nightwatchman early on day three. A fine catch from Kohli - at a fourth slip position.
The ball was banged in short and it kept climbing onto the right-hander. Nortje did his best but was simply undone by the lift.

3.Umesh Yadav gets his third, Theunis de Bruyn departs for 30
Edged and caught!!!
de Bruyn just threw his wicket away.
This was a back of a length delivery outside off and held its line. de Bruyn couldn't resist and went hard at the shot, gets a thick edge and Saha does the rest. He dives across to his right and snaffling it in front of first slip.

He reached the landmark with another boundary. Jadeja offers width again and du Plessis presses forward before thrashing it through the covers.

Quinton de Kock has been cleaned up!
The South African wicketkeeper-batsman is shocked and does not leave the field for a while.
This was bowled a touch quicker from a shorter length, de Kock was lazy as he hung back to work it through the leg-side.
The ball drifted in, but the batsman got beaten by the away-spin.

6.Jadeja dismisses Senuran Muthusamy
First dismissal for Senuran Muthusamy in Tests and he is out LBW because he offered no shot.
There was a lot of spin on it but umpire Llong deemed it out and he was right.
Hawkeye showed three reds and the impact was outside off but was taken out of the equation as he offered no shot.

7.Big wicket goes down, du Plessis goes for 64
du Plessis was stabbing forward frequently and Ashwin slips in the straighter one.
The ball didn't turn and takes the outer edge and has been gobbled up by the man at slip - Ajinkya Rahane.
Excellent wicket for Ashwin and India. Second wicket for Ashwin.

8.Maiden Test fifty for Keshav Maharaj
Maiden Test fifty for Maharaj.
Draws an invisible square in the air gesturing something to the video analyst Prasanna Raman I presume, who seems to have groomed his batting skills.
The Pune crowd gives him a round of applause.
Its also Maharaj's highest Test score.

9.India have finally got the breakthrough,

It's Ashwin with his third wicket. He breaks through the stubborn partnership.

South Africa have been bowled out for 275 after 105.4 overs in Pune.
Ashwin's floated delivery deceives Rabada who misses the pitch of the ball and the ball goes and hits him on the pad.
Rabada faced nine delivers and managed to score only two runs before losing his wicket.
The umpires have decided to call stumps for the day with India going into day four of the second Test match with a 326-run lead.
