One of the most defining features of the Indian team under Virat Kohli is how secured the players are. They seem to be genuinely happy about each other's success and motivate one another o reach another tier in their professional career.

This mentality is most visible in captain Virat Kohli, who often celebrates other teammates success more than his personal milestone.

One can't forget how Kohli was stunned by MS Dhoni's massive six against South Africa and against Sri Lanka on Saturday, captain was overjoyed when his deputy reached a new world record of five hundreds in a single world cup.

Rohit Sharma has hit a purple patch in this tournament and like any great, he is cashing in while the sun shines. Rohit Sharma barring a couple of matches have been in pick form already hitting five tons and his captain can't praise him enough.

Virat Kohli also asked Rohit about his motivation in the World Cup after missing out to be part of the squad in 2011 and India losing in the semis in 2015. Rohit refused to directly wade into the topic and said that focus is on routine, like it is during bilateral tournament.

Rohit Sharma almost repeated Virat Kohli's line that it is a World Cup but it is also a game of cricket and the need is to play it well to ensure victory.

Later in the press conference though, Rohit spoke briefly about missing out on the chance of being part of the 2011 World Cup winning squad. He said that while it was disappointing at that time, but he has long got past it.
