Abhishek Sharma, Ruturaj Gaikwad help India level series with 100-run win over Zimbabwe in 2nd T20I
India defeated Zimbabwe by 100 runs in the second T20I at Harare Sports Club.
India triumphed over Zimbabwe by dismissing them for 134 runs, securing a series-levelling victory of 100 runs in the second T20I.
Earlier, Abhishek Sharma made history by scoring a century as India reached a total of 234 for 2. In only his second T20I match, the left-handed batsman achieved this milestone in just 46 balls. This remarkable feat makes him the fastest Indian player to score a T20I century in just two innings. Ruturaj Gaikwad also played a crucial role by scoring an unbeaten 77, while Rinku Singh added a quickfire 48 not out.
The Zimbabwe bowlers struggled on the field after India's captain, Shubman Gill, won the toss and chose to bat.
