After registering a victory over England in Pune in the ODI series, India all-rounders Hardik Pandya, his brother Krunal and batsman Suryakumar Yadav on Monday joined the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad.
While Hardik was part of the whole of England's series, SKY made his debut in the T20I and was later added to the ODI squad. As for Krunal, he made his ODI debut which India won 2-1 after defeating the tourists by seven runs.
Mumbai Indians franchise posted a video of the three players arriving in Mumbai on its official Twitter handle.
Suryakumar, after making his T20I debut said he was happy with his performance. The 30-year-old produced a sensational half-century on his debut.
"Firstly really happy and very proud to represent India. It was always my dream to play for the country. It feels great and I was really happy to be part of such an amazing unit," Suryakumar said in the video.
"And now, that role is over and I am back to my Mumbai Indians family. Looking ahead to unbelievable times ahead," he added.
As for the Indian Premier League (IPL) clash, the defending champions MI will take on Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the tournament opener which will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 9.
