Former Indian and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Suresh Raina is all set to begin the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in the UAE from September 19. Before the series begins, the Chennai Super Kings have started a new series called 'Super Couple' where Raina revealed details about his love story and six-year marriage with his wife Priyanka Chaudhary. In addition to this, Raina also spoke about his life after retiring from the Indian cricket team in 2020.
Speaking about his first encounter with Priyanka, Raina said, "The first time I met her, she used to come to my house and my brother used to teach her. My brother’s wife now and Priyanka used to study together before I went off to boarding school."
Raina also spoke about how he later bumped into his wife at the airport in 2008 when he was returning from Australia and that their bond grew from there.

In the video, Priyanka was intently listening to Raina and smiling ear-to-ear but later went on about how she is blessed to have such a great family and how the past six years of married life have been blissful for both her and Raina.
Priyanka especially spoke about her and Raina coming together from different backgrounds and building a life together. She also hailed Raina as a great father to their kids.
In other news, before the Indian Premier League was rescheduled owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, Raina was in playing in fine form with the Chennai Super Kings and had scored 123 runs in the first 7 games. CSK is currently placed second in the points table with 5 wins in 7 games.
