The Aussie batsman took to Instagram to share his happiness and also revealed the name of their little angel - Esther Kate Finch.

The cricketer added that both the mother and baby are doing absolutely fine. "Welcome to the world, Esther Kate Finch. Our little princess arrived yesterday at 4.58 pm weighing 3.54kg. @amyfinch did an amazing job and both her and bub are very healthy!" Aaron Finch wrote under the picture.

As far as cricket is concerned, Finch was going through some tough times due to various injuries. He is aiming to mark his comeback in the T20 World Cup for Australia.

The ICC tournament is all set to commence on October 17 with the qualifiers taking place first. The captain had aggravated his knee injury during the tour to West Indies and after playing the T20I series, he sat out for ODIs and even missed the subsequent Bangladesh series too. Not just a knee injury, Finch even had blurry eye vision.

He moved back to Australia and underwent knee surgery. If he gains his fitness back, he will even open for Australia alongside David Warner in the high-profile tournament.
