The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 will be the first major T20 league that will be played in the world ever since the coronavirus outbreak stopped all sporting action. The Caribbean Premier League will be followed by the even more prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL) that will be played in the UAE on September 19. Barbados Tridents are the current defending champions of the Caribbean Premier League while Trinbago Knight Riders are the most successful team in the Caribbean Premier League with three titles.
