Actor Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are rumoured to be dating each other for a long time.

Team India opening batsman KL Rahul has grabbed an opportunity and how. Shubman Gill was ruled out after an injury, Mayank Agarwal suffered a blow on his head and was ruled out so India had no option but to slot-in KL Rahul, after he warmed benches in Australia and in the home series against England.

But he made his chances count, with scores of 84, 26 and now 127*. Rahul was very sedate in the first half of the innings, letting Rohit Sharma take control and do his thing. After Rohit was bowled by James Anderson for 83, Rahul took the centre stage and it was all him after that.

Virat Kohli played his part, but the sublime cover drives, the aggressive cut shots, the beautiful flicks and leaves, a lot of leaves were the highlights of Rahul's innings. After missing out on a hundred at Trent Bridge, KL Rahul made it count and notched up his sixth century in Test matches and second in England.

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty was among many, who praised Rahul on his innings at Lord's. Shetty shared a video of Rahul celebrating his century saying, "100 at the Mecca of cricket! Well played baba."

As soon as Shetty posted this, the reply section was filled with hilarious reactions with users asking if they should consider the deal done. For the uninitiated, Suniel Shetty's daughter Athiya and KL Rahul are rumoured to be dating each other and are in a relationship for a long time.

Athiya recently spent some quality time with KL Rahul in England before the series began as Team India cricketers were given  20-day break after the World Test Championship final. Both have made public appearances together, they keep posting about each other on social media and recently shot a TVC as well.

Here are some of the reactions:
