5th Test between India and England at Manchester cancelled

Earlier, head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Shrishar were in isolation have not travelled with the team.

Soon after the news of the fifth Test between England and India at Old Trafford being cancelled was out, Twitter went berserk. The news came out after India were unable to field a team, the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said.

"Due to fears of a further increase in the number of COVID cases inside the camp, India are regrettably unable to field a team".

From former cricketers to fans all flooded Twitter talking about the last Test.

Earlier, the core main support staff group - including head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Shrishar - who are in isolation have not travelled with the team to Manchester for the final Test. Batting coach Vikram Rathour is the only senior support staff with the team.

India had a 2-1 lead in the five-match series after winning at the Oval.
