Whenever Rishabh Pant stands at the toss, there is always a light banter between him and the rival captain and this time it was Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Hardik Pandya's turn.
During the 10th game of IPL 2022, between GT and Delhi Capitals (DC). Rishabh Pant won the toss. However, he faultily elected to bat first and immediately changed it to bowl.
After winning the toss, when presenter Danny Morrison asked Rishabh what he would like to choose and why, the southpaw first said that he'd like to bat, and within seconds change his decision to bowl.
"We would like to bat ohhh bowl first!" Pant had said. Hearing this, GT captain Hardik Pandya laughed and almost fell over Pant.
Morrison too played along and jokingly asked him, not once but twice, if his decision to bowl was final. "You sure you wanna bowl first?", Morrison asked to check if Pant had made up his mind.

Talking further at the toss, Pant said, "This year we have a different bowling lineup and want to bowl first. When we were batting first in the last game, initially we were under pressure and were at ease as the innings went on. We have one change, Nagarkoti is out and Mustafizur comes in for him".
This was the second game of the super Saturday and the first clash was played between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) where the latter thrashed the five-time champions to seal a 23-run victory.
As for Pant and Pandya, the two young skippers are clashing it out at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune. Both teams have come into the game after clinching a victory. While Delhi has been in the circuit for a long time, Gujarat is making their debut this season.
