Mahi is widely renowned for his power-hitting with the bat, collecting a reputation for being one of the deadliest ever finishers that played the game.

Former Indian national team skipper MS Dhoni celebrates his birthday on Tuesday (July 7) as the veteran turns 39 years old and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) paid their tribute towards him by sharing a 70-second video which is a mini compilation of some of his monstrous sixes.

Dhoni has won all possible major cricketing accolades that one can achieve during their playing stint.

He is also the only international captain to have won ICC 50-over World Cup, T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy.

It was under the leadership of Dhoni that India reached number one ranking in both Test and ODI formats of the game.

Mahi is widely renowned for his power-hitting with the bat, collecting a reputation for being one of the best ever finishers that played the game.

"Let’s celebrate Dhoni's birthday by revisiting some of his monstrous sixes!," tweeted BCCI.

However, since India's semi-final exit from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against New Zealand in August last year, MSD hasn't featured for the Men In Blue.

During his break from cricket, the 38-year-old also served for the Indian Army too.
