Renowned Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, made his highly anticipated public appearance on Saturday, July 20th, following the announcement of his divorce from Natasa Stankovic. The former couple released a joint statement on Instagram, officially confirming their separation.
"After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family," a statement released on their Instagram read.
Hardik, who was emotional after bowling the final over in India's thrilling T20 World Cup 2024 victory over South Africa, appeared in public with a smile for the first time since confirming his divorce. He made this appearance while launching his debut activewear brand at an event.
The star Indian all-rounder served as Rohit's deputy during their triumphant T20 World Cup campaign. However, he was not chosen to succeed Rohit as captain following his retirement from T20Is. Instead, Suryakumar Yadav has been appointed as India's T20I skipper, with Shubman Gill named as vice-captain.
