Team India skipper Virat Kohli is known for being aggressive on the field and his celebrations in the past have taken the internet by storm many times in the past. His celebrations have become a topic of both priase and criticism, praise by the Indian cricket fans and also by foreign cricketers on a few occasions, but have been criticised by foreign media and cricketers for his behaviour.
However, the aggressive celebrations were again on the show by the Indian skipper again on Wednesday on the first day of the day-night Test against England. The celebrations, this time though had a twist and a resemblance to a famous celebration of not one but two overseas cricketers, fast bowlers, to be specific.
As soon as the replays confirmed that England skipper Joe Root was indeed out after off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin trapped him in front of the wickets, Kohli's aggression came out as he did the punching the ground in delight celebrations.
South African fast bowler Dale Steyn and former Australian speedster Brett Lee made this celebration famous and the netizens couldn't stop themselves from spotting the resemblance. As the aggression was on-par with the two pacers, and the passion and delight weren't that far as he knew how important that wicket was.
