India delivered a stellar all-round bowling performance, limiting the United Arab Emirates to 123/7 in 20 overs during the Women’s Asia Cup T20 match at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla on Sunday. This impressive display resulted in India securing a victory by 78 runs.
Prior to this, Richa Ghosh and Harmanpreet Kaur both scored half-centuries, propelling India to a total of 201/5 in the first innings. United Arab Emirates skipper Esha Rohit Oza had won the toss and elected to bowl first on a favorable batting pitch.
With this win, India now sits at the top of their group with four points, positioning themselves well for a spot in the semifinals. Their upcoming final group match will be against Nepal.
