Indian skipper's diving effort broke the dangerous-looking 57-run partnership between Sam Curran and Adil Rashid in the third ODI against England

Indian skipper Virat Kohli was the star again for his side, this time with his splendid fielding effort as he grabbed a one-hand stunner to help India get the eighth wicket and broke the emerging dangerous partnership between Sam Curran and Adil Rashid in the final ODI of the three-match series. And, it was India's breakthrough man Shardul Thakur, who got his fourth wicket of the night.

In the 40th over of the innings, Thakur came on to bowl under pressure again as India desperately need to break the partnership, which had frustrated the home side further after the 60-run partnership between Liam Livingstone and Dawid Malan. He bowled a shorter delivery outside the off-stump with a scrambled seam. Rashid played it with soft hands towards the covers.

Skipper Kohli was standing near the third or fourth pitch, he anticipated the ball and moved swiftly towards his left and stretched his left hand to grab the ball and pluck it out of thin air to help India get the eighth wicket and break the crucial 57-run partnership.

This was Shardul's fourth wicket as he and the bowlers helped India eventually win the content by just seven runs despite Sam Curran's valiant knock of unbeaten 95 runs off just 83 balls, who defied the home side till the last over.
