Indian family live streams Chepauk Test at a wedding and picture goes viral

The guests and the family members didn't have to choose between attending the wedding and watching the match as they could do both together.

From standing outside TV showrooms or inside a barbershop, when there is a cricket match on and if India is playing, then surely all forget about their daily chores and watch the clash with great intensity.

The craze for the game of cricket is quite evident among Indians as they treat the sport like religion. So, when Indians worship the game so much, would a wedding stop people from watching it?

With the India series against England on, some die-hard fans of the Indian cricket team live-streamed the live telecast of the ongoing first Test of the four-match Test series at their wedding venue.

In the photo that is going viral on social media, the guests and the family members didn't have to choose between attending the wedding and watching the match as they could do both together.

A member of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Indian Premier League (IPL) Media and communications team, Moulin Parikh shared the picture of this wedding on his official Twitter handle.

Parikh wrote, "Have skipped many family functions as they coincided with #TeamIndia matches in the pre-digital era. Wedding invites now must mention that the match will be streamed live to ensure full attendance. #INDvsENG. Camera – Akshay Natarajan"

As for the clash, India need 381 more runs on the final day to win the first Test against England. At stumps on day four, India`s score read 39/1, with Shubman Gill (15*) and Cheteshwar Pujara (12*) on the field. 

R Ashwin picked six wickets, restricting England to a very low total in the second innings and with this, a target of 420 runs was set for the hosts.
