Rohit Sharma scored 94 not out against Bangalore on Tuesday night.

Rohit Sharma set some new records and achieved some personal milestones as he scored 94 not out against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday night. The Mumbai captain helped his team recover from 0/2 to 213/6 at the Wankhede Stadium. 

These are the records that Rohit Sharma set during his innings:  

# Rohit Sharma notched up his 50th half-century in T20 cricket. Rohit Sharma became the third Indian batsman to do so. He joined the leagues of Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli. Gambhir and Kohli has 53 fifties each in T20 cricket. 

# Rohit Sharma also became the second highest six hitter in Indian Premier League. He went past Suresh Raina with 175 sixes. Raina has scored 174 sixes. Chris Gayle leads the list with 269 sixes.

# Rohit Sharma also became the fourth batsman to score over 600 runs against the Bangalore franchise after Gautam Gambhir, MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina.
