Dinesh Karthik is usually known as a cool customer on the field but the Kolkata Knight Riders’ captain was very emotional during the match against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali on Friday.
He was seen having an animated chat with his teammates during the first innings of the match. Karthik seemed to be lashing out at his teammates during the first strategic time-out in the KXIP innings.
Karthik called his teammates into a huddle and was seen expressing his thoughts with passion. Head coach Jacques Kallis was also present on the field at that moment.

Social media users also reacted to the incident and were quick to point out Karthik's behaviour.
Karthik later said that he was not happy with the effort being put in by his team at that point. He said that he was not satisfied by the body language of the unit.
"I don't care for the result, but I do care for the effort," he said after the match.
Karthik's talk seemed to have worked as Kolkata Knight Riders knocked out Kings XI Punjab by seven wickets on Friday to stay afloat in the Indian Premier League.
