David Warner shared a photo of himself and his daughter in CSK jersey made by a fan before the IPL final, but had later deleted it.

Australia and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter David Warner shared a photo of himself and his daughter wearing the jersey of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ahead of the final of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), that he claimed was made by a fan and sent to him, however, he later deleted it.

"I wasn't sure who to go for tonight but I could not say no to this Fan who asked me to post this!! #ipl #indi #yellow #CSK," Warner captioned the post. However, the post invited a variety of reactions, mostly saying that Warner hinted that he might join CSK next year.

With too much conjecture around, David Warner deleted the picture and shared the original post from 2019 IPL in the SRH jersey with his daughter on the shoulders, captioning this one, "Here’s the original, too many people were upset. What’s your prediction for tonight everyone. #ipl #cricket #sorry."

Warner had a tough time during the IPL 2021 playing for the Orange Army as in the eight matches he featured, scored 195 runs striking at 107 and lost his captaincy and was also left out of the side. He made a comeback in the second half in absence of Jonny Bairstow, and played just two games and returned with scores of 0 and 2 in the two games.

After the last game of his franchise, Warner shared a couple of posts suggesting that he may have played his last in the SRH colours and thanked the fans for all their support.

Recently speaking to Sports Today, Warner mentioned that he would love to be back with the Sunrisers from IPL 2022, but with two new teams set to enter the fray and a mega-auction before the next season it looks tough but added that the decision is with the owners and the management.
