Thanks to Jos Buttler's century, Rajasthan Royals were able to set a target of 194 runs.

Mumbai Indians won the toss in this match and asked Rajasthan Royals to bat first. Jos Buttler was in the attacking mode from the word 'go' as he smacked Basil Thampi for 26 runs in an over.

Simron Hetmyer also played a cameo of 35 runs in 14 deliveries while Sanju Samson also contributed 30 runs for the team.

Jos Buttler kept losing the batting partners at the other end with Yashaswi Jaiswal and Devdutt Paddikal both gone back to the dressing room by the end of the powerplay overs but he along with Sanju Samson tried to steady Rajasthan Royals with their counter-attacking gameplay.

Here's how the social media applauded Jos Buttler for his heroic efforts

#JosButtler, the greatest ever limited overs player from England, becomes the first batter to score 100 in #IPL2022. When this man is in full flow, even the best of bowling attacks looks ordinary. After all he idolises GOAT #ABdeVilliers and only taking his legacy forward. #MIvRR pic.twitter.com/tDYTiZiKEQ

Mumbai Indians will have to chase down a big target of 194 runs but they have plenty of good batsmen like Rohit Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Kieron Pollard, and Tim David in their squad whereas Trent Boult, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin will have the responsibility to defend this target.

So it's going to be an interesting run chase. Stay tuned for more updates.
