After the games between MI vs RR and GT vs DC, there has been a lot of movement in the league table of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Hardik Pandya and Co put Delhi Capitals (DC) to the sword to go level on points at the top of league standings, although they're in 3rd place because of net run rate.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) are leading the way, after beating Mumbai Indians (MI) earlier on Saturday, and as a consequence, Rohit Sharma's men remain in 9th place with no points to show for their efforts so far.
Gujarat Titans (GT) on the other hand have made a dream start to their maiden IPL campaign, winning both of their first two games.

IPL 2022 updated points table after MI vs RR, GT vs DC:
Sanju Samson's Rajasthan Royals defeated Mumbai Indians by 23 runs to keep their perfect record in IPL 2022 intact. They sit pretty atop the league standings with 4 points from 2 games. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are second, after two wins in three games, and Gujarat Titans are third, with two wins as well, but having a lesser net run rate than the top two teams.
Rounding off the top four are Delhi Capitals who despite losing on Saturday are still leading the pack among other teams due to a superior net run rate. KL Rahul's Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are in fifth place, while Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are in sixth place.
Mayank Agarwal's Punjab Kings (PBKS) who will be in action later on Sunday are in seventh place, followed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Orange, Purple cap holders
After two centuries in both his games for Mumbai, Ishan Kishan leads the charts for Orange cap, with 135 runs to his name. Rajasthan Royals' star of Saturday's match Jos Buttler also has as many runs as Kishan, but the latter holds the cap due to a better average, having played an unbeaten 81 in Mumbai's first game.
