The 26-year-old cricketer's most recent appearance for India was during the five-game T20I series against Australia in November.

Star Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan marked his 26th birthday with a spiritual visit to the Shree Samadhi Mandir in Shirdi, Maharashtra, seeking blessings from Sai Baba. Kishan graciously shared images of his visit on his social media platforms.

This past year has been a whirlwind for Ishan Kishan. Despite his intermittent appearances in the Indian team, Kishan remains one of the premier batters in T20I cricket. He holds the distinction of achieving the fastest double century in ODIs and has delivered numerous memorable performances while donning the Indian jersey.

However, Kishan recently found himself excluded from the BCCI central contracts, alongside Shreyas Iyer, due to his decision to skip Ranji Trophy matches despite not being selected for the national team. His lack of focus on first-class cricket led to a reprimand. Additionally, Kishan requested a break from cricket citing mental fatigue, and has not made an appearance since then.

The 26-year-old cricketer's most recent appearance for India was during the five-game T20I series against Australia in November, where he scored a fifty. However, Ishan Kishan made the decision to not participate in the Ranji Trophy for Jharkhand, prompting Rahul Dravid to emphasize the importance of playing domestic cricket in order to represent India at the international level.

During the IPL season, Kishan faced some challenges, managing to score 320 runs in 14 matches with an average of 22.86 and a strike rate of 148.84. Despite these setbacks, Ishan Kishan remains determined to prove himself and seek redemption whenever he has the opportunity to play for India and his team, the Mumbai Indians.
