While talks about his retirement from Test are doing the rounds, South African skipper Faf du Plessis is making sure to give his all in the Test series against England.
The match at the Wanderers, that could be his final one on home soil saw him Faf take a stunner catch to dismiss England skipper Joe Root.
While fielding Faf pulled off a stunning one-handed diving catch at The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.
When Beuran Hendricks bowled a full and wide delivery, Joe Root went after it, however, the ball hit the edge and flew to Faf who stretched to pluck an absolute screamer.
The catch helped Hendricks get his maiden fifer in Test cricket.

As for the match, England enforced the follow on and went full throttle in the second innings. They were eventually bowled out for 183 and set the hosts 466 runs to target to win the match.
Faf is also in pressure amid the debate over his captaincy. He has the backing of the team management and head coach Mark Boucher.
“He is under pressure from a weight of runs as well, from captaincy, all that stuff,” Boucher said.
“The players back him in the dressing room. It’s nice to see him take that catch towards the end of the day. Hopefully, it will lift his spirits. He will go out there and fight. He understands that he is the leader and he wants to do well and lead from the front. Hopefully, there is something big around the corner for Faf. The whole scene is set for him to come in under pressure and score big runs and hopefully get us close to winning a Test match.
