Sachin Tendulkar couldn't keep calm after Jasprit Bumrah became the batsman with the highest runs in a single over following his 29-run blitz.

Jasprit Bumrah on Saturday surpassed West Indies great Brian Lara's tally of 28 runs, to become the batsman with the highest runs in a single over in Test cricket history. Bumrah scored 29 runs against Stuart Broad, in the rescheduled fifth Test match against England at Edgbaston.

After Bumrah's heroics, even Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar couldn't control his excitement. Sachin came up with a tweet praising Bumrah, as he compared the Indian pacer to Yuvraj Singh, who had scored six sixes in an over against Broad in 2007.

"Kya yeh Yuvi hai ya Bumrah!? 2007 ki yaad dilaa di.." wrote the legendary Indian batsman on Twitter while praising Bumrah for his blitzkrieg 29-run knock.

It all started when Bumrah pulled the first ball from Stuart Broad in the 84th over for a boundary. It was a top-edge that Crawley very nearly got to, but it evaded him and bounced over the rope. Broad again dug it short and it went high over wicketkeeper Sam Billings' head for five wides.

.

More agony followed for Broad as Bumrah bludgeoned a full toss over mid-on for another boundary and then got an inside edge to fine leg for another boundary. Bumrah fell while trying to swat Broad over deep square leg, but the ball sailed comfortably for the fourth boundary of the over.

Broad bowled another short ball and Bumrah pulled brilliantly over fine leg for six, giving him the world record for scoring the most runs in an over of Test cricket.
