While the world has come to a standstill due to the coronavirus outbreak, sports starts are making sure to stay connected with fans. Indian batsman Mayank Agarwal on Thursday shared a throwback childhood snap.

The Test opener captioned the image saying that old photos are guaranteed recipe of bringing a smile on someone's face.

The right-handed batsman, who is seen holding a cricket bat and posing in his veranda, captioned the post, "Go through those old photo albums if you're home. Guaranteed recipe to bring a smile to your face!#ThursdayThrowback #ThursdayThoughts".

Agarwal had travelled with the Indian squad to New Zealand to play the two-match Test series of ICC World test Championships (WTC). He scored a total of 102 runs in four innings and India were whitewashed by the Kiwis. 

As for the Indian Premier League (IPL), Agarwal is part of the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) squad, and the aggressive batsman will have to wait more before stepping on to the field as the BCCI postponed the tournament until April 15.

Many sporting events across the world have been affected by the COVID-19 and as many tournaments/competitions are either postponed or cancelled.
