Mayanti Langer, who is married to Indian all-rounder Stuart Binny, is one of the most recognisable faces in Indian sports broadcasting. She is also the daughter-in-law of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Roger Binny.

Mayanti Langer's early life:

Mayanti Langer was born to Indian army officer Lieutenant General Sanjiv Langer and Preminda Langer on February 8, 1985. She pursued B.A. (Hons) from Delhi's Hindu College.

Mayanti began her sports broadcasting career with ESPN Star Sports as a host and associate producer for various sports events. With her vast knowledge of cricket, she has made quite a name for herself and over the years has hosted a plethora of events, including the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the 2011 Cricket World Cup, the 2014 Indian Super League, and the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup. 

Apart from cricket, Mayanti also has a keen interest in football making her the first Indian female sports anchor to host FIFA World Cup 2010.

Mayanti Langer met cricketer Stuart Binny during the Indian Cricket League (ICL) tournament and got married to him in 2012. Their first child was born in September 2020.
