Team India enjoyed a distraction from their loss in Southampton as they celebrated Mohammed Shami's birthday on Tuesday.
Shami posted photos of his birthday celebration with Team India and Delhi Daredevils teammates Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw.
ICC and BCCI also tweeted their wishes to the India pacer on his birthday.
However, there was some confusion on his birthday. Shami's profile on Google page and some other websites showed Mohammed Shami's birthday as March 9.
Mohammed Shami has 223 international wickets to his name, with his Test best of 5/28 coming against South Africa in Johannesburg this year.
Shami was one of the positives for Virat Kohli and Co in an otherwise dismal show in the 4th Test at Southampton.
The visitors succumbed to a 60-run defeat to concede the five-match series 1-3. Shami finished the game as India's best bowler with figures of 51/2 and 57/4 in the two innings respectively.
