Sushant Singh Rajput has won lot of praise for potryal of former Indian captain MS Dhoni in the cricketer's biopic- 'MS Dhoni: The untold story'. Apart from his acting, Sushant's physical transformation had impressed everyone.
The actor was particularly praised for nailing the look and mannerism of MSD and even his batting style on the pitch. Now, Sushant has shared a clip from the film that shows how close the potrayal was to the real thing.
SSR shared a frame by frame video comparison between a scene from the film and an iconic moment from the 2011 World Cup final. The video compares the real life footage of MS Dhoni's batting during the final, particularily when he sent the ball flying into the stands with a helicopter shot to clinch the World Cup, with the scene from the film.
The video shows Sushant mimicking every movement that MSD made before the iconic moment and how he celebrated after it. The attention to detail from the makers is astonishing especially when the two videos are played side by side.
Here's the video:
Sushant captioned the memorable video as, "Thalaiva and me. Good morning. “Dhoni finishes off in style. A magnificent strike into crowd. India lifts the World Cup after 28 years and it is the Indian Captain who has been absolutely magnificent in the night of the final”.” ~ Shastri #OurIndia #OurDhoni".
