IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians win toss and opt to field against Rajasthan Royals, Ishan Kishan comes in for Quinton de Kock

It's a must-win match for Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals as they aim to grab the remaining one slot of the play-off.

The 51st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 saw Mumbai Indians (MI) win the toss and opt to field first against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah.

It's a must-win match for both teams as they aim to grab the remaining one slot of the play-off. If Mumbai loses this clash, they will be the second team after Sunrisers Hyderabad to be eliminated.

Mumbai makes two changes, Ishan Kishan comes back for Quinton de Kock and Jimmy Neesham from Krunal Pandya. As for Rajasthan Royals, Shreyas Gopal comes in for Mayank and Kuldip Yadav comes in for Akash Singh.

Rajasthan Royals have kept their playoffs hope alive after they defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their previous match by 7 wickets with 15 balls left in the game. 

As far as Mumbai Indians is concerned, they, on the other hand, did not perform well since the second leg of the IPL has begun. They managed to win only one of their last 5 matches and are currently placed at the 7th spot in the standings with 10 points.
