'No threat today?': Mohammad Hafeez takes a dig at Blackcaps after NZC cancelled Pakistan tour

New Zealand Cricket's (NZC) cancellation of the Pakistan limited-overs tour has invited several reactions while many former cricketers and Pakistan players and chairman Ramiz Raja have expressed their disappointment at the last-minute cancellation, many have said that when the NZ government got a security alert for them security and safety of players was paramount for them.
A day later, Pakistan batsman Mohammad Hafeez took a dig at the Blackcaps sharing a picture of the New Zealand contingent at the airport asking if there was no threat on Saturday, September 18.
"Thanks to the security of pakistan forces to make arrangements to @BLACKCAPS to reach at airport Safe & Sound. Wonder same route & same security but no threat today???" Hafeez wrote on Twitter.

While many labelled Hafeez's response uncalled for, New Zealand Cricket said that the security alert they received, there was no way they could stay in Pakistan for the tour and had to call off.
New Zealand pacer Mitchell McClenaghan responding to Hafeez said, "Come now bro. This has a bad taste to it... Don't blame the players or the organisation... blame our government. They have only acted on the advice they have received. I'm absolutely certain these young men - all wanting to prove themselves wanted to play. they had no choice," tweeted McClenaghan."
Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) newly-elected chairman Ramiz Raja while expressing his disappointment over the same said, "Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Ramiz Raja had also expressed his disappointment on Twitter. He wrote, "Crazy day it has been! Feel so sorry for the fans and our players. Walking out of the tour by taking a unilateral approach on a security threat is very frustrating. Especially when it's not shared!! Which world is NZ living in??NZ will hear us at ICC".
