Before the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 kicks off in India on October 5, there will be ten warm-up matches taking place between September 29 and October 3. These preparatory games will be held at three different venues: Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, and Guwahati.

The tournament opener will see England, the defending champion, facing New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5. Additionally, the final match of this 48-match tournament is scheduled to be held at the same venue on November 19. During the league stage, the ten participating teams will compete across ten venues throughout India.
