Ahead of the fourth Test between India and England, all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja gifted his Test jersey signed by all Indian teammates to Michael Vaughan for a charitable purpose.
While the beneficiaries of the charity remain unknown, Vaughan took to his Instagram story to thank Jadeja for his gesture.
He shared the photo of the jersey and wrote, "Cheers @ravindra.jadeja, will make lots of money for a charity".
Meanwhile, Jadeja, who was part of the first three matches against England, remains unsure to be part of the fourth Test after suffering an injury. He injured his knee during the third Test in Leeds and underwent precautionary scans on Saturday (August 28).
He posted the update on his Instagram story with a caption, "not a good place to be at" on the same day India lost the Leeds.
The injury took place when Jadeja slipped on the first day while fielding, after which he left the field while holding his knee in some pain.
He returned later but did not bowl. He did bat and got a quickfire 30 in the second innings before India was dismissed for 278.
As for his injury, no official updates are made yet and even about his chances of being part of the XI for the next encounter at The Oval. The fourth Test is scheduled to be played at the Oval from September 2.
