After weeks of speculation and online rumours floating around the wedding, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah got hitched to sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan.
On Monday, Bumrah shared photos from his special day along with his partner over his social media accounts and wrote, "Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you."
Soon in a matter of seconds, the wedding photos went viral across India as his teammates and even fans started pouring in congratulatory messages.
However, curious netizens had some questions in mind about Bumrah and for that, they turned to Google in search of answers.
"Is Bumrah Sikh?" was the top searched question on Google Trends on Monday.
Not just that, the other questions were "What is Bumrah's caste?" or "What is Bumrah’s religion?".
Some even asked, "Where was Bumrah born?".
Meanwhile, after the wedding, an old tweet of Sanjana Ganesan about the 27-year-old started doing the rounds. A tweet from two months ago resurfaced where she spoke about mood swings taking Bumrah's photos as an example.
Ganesan had captioned the photos saying, "Jasprit Bumrah's on-field moods & my daily mood swings look exactly alike," back in January this year.
