Since India's semi-final exit from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against New Zealand in August, MSD made himself unavailable for selection. During his break from cricket, the 38-year-old also served for the Indian Army too.

After spending his Christmas away in Dubai, Dhoni flew in on New Year's eve to welcome 2020 with his wife (Sakshi) and daughter (Ziva).

Soon after that, the veteran wicketkeeper-batsman left for Landour with his full family to enjoy snowfall in the chilly hills of Uttarakhand.

Sakshi Dhoni on Wednesday (January 8) has shared numerous photos of MSD and Ziva alongside her parents.

"Verified Fam-Jam ! My favourites at the best spot for snowfall!" one of her posts on IG read.

After being absent from the Indian squad which took on West Indies and South Africa in the past months, Dhoni also backed out from the series against Bangladesh and West Indies as well.
