Virat Kohli may have dominated the cricketing records and headlines in the current era but he is not the most difficult batsman to bowl to, according to Pakistan's Mohammad Amir.
During a rapid-fire interview with ESPNcricinfo, Amir was asked to pick the most difficult batsman to bowl to in current era. He said, "Steven Smith."
Amir is one of the few bowlers to have troubled the Indian captain. Amir, who returned to international cricket after serving a 5-year ban, has troubled most of the Indian batsmen with his pace including Kohli. Amir dismissed Kohli in ICC Champions Trophy final in 2017 helping Pakistan win the title.
Kohli had earlier named Amir as one of the toughest bowlers to bat against.
During a chat with actor actor Aamir Khan, Kohli was asked is he ever felt nervous facing any bowler in world cricket. The batsman was quick to reveal that Pakistan speedster Mohammad Amir was one bowler who kept him on his toes at all times.
