In recently concluded Indian Premier League, Ambati Rayudu socred 602 runs in 16 matches with an average of 43 for Chennai Super Kings. Apart from his persistance, hard wordk, and determination there was one more thing that the 32-year-old batsman thinks helped him become the fourth highest run-getter.

That lucky charm was Virat Kohli's bat.

In a freewheeling chat with his teammate and CSK off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, Rayudu revealed that Virat Kohli's bat helped him score all those runs in the tournament.

"Har saal ek bat leta hu Virat se, usko bhi maloom ho gaya ki tashan hai. Is saal to gaali deke diya hai," said Rayudu (Every year I borrow one bat from Virat. Now even he has understood why. sic)

Chennai Super Kings won the final of Indian Premier League after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.

Ambati Rayudu was on the field when Shane Watson blitz chased down the target of 179 runs. In last 8 seasons, Rayudu was part for Mumbai Indians team and he scored 2416 runs for Rohit Sharma's team.
