Surrey’s Aaron Finch registered his second century of the ongoing England T20 Blast on Friday as he scored unbeaten 117 off just 52 balls and his knock was inclusive of 11 fours and eight sixes.

Batting first, Middlesex posted a huge total of 221, thanks to a century from their opening man Paul Sterling. In reply to that, Jason Roy and Finch top-scored and helped Surrey win the match by nine wickets and 24 balls remaining.

Roy played with a better strike rate; he piled up 84 runs from 37 balls and shared a 194-run stand with Finch before James Fuller dismissed him in the 14th over.

Meanwhile, Finch scored his first fifty off just 16 balls, something only four batsmen have done before. However, from there his innings slowed down because he reached the three-figure mark consuming a total of 42 balls.
